1˝ lbs. ground beef 3 T. oyster sauce ˝ tsp. pepper ˝ tsp. dry marjoram ˝ tsp. dry thyme ˝ tsp. dry basil ˝ ounce green onion, chopped 1 Maui onion 4 hamburger buns A) Mince Maui onion and sauté in sesame seed oil. Let cool. B) Combine the ground beef, Maui onion and rest of the ingredients in a bowl. Mix well but avoid compacting. C) Divide mixture into 4 patties. Cover with waxed paper and chill for 1 hour. D) Cook it on the barbecue grill -or- hibachi about 4 mins. on each side over a medium-hot fire for medium rare. |
