2 lbs. chicken thighs, deboned and whole -or- cut into small pieces ¼ cup mochiko ¼ cup cornstarch 3 T. sugar 5 T. shoyu ½ tsp. salt 2 eggs ¼ cup green onions, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced oil A) Mix all ingredients, except oil, and pour over chicken. Marinate for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally. B) Heat about 1" of oil in a skillet. Fry chicken pieces, turning them over until evenly browned and cooked thoroughly. If preferred, chicken may be baked in the oven at 350F for 30 minutes. |
