Teriyaki Meatballs



	
1	lb.	ground beef
¼	cup	onion, chopped
¼	cup	bread crumbs
1		egg
1	tsp.	salt
¼	tsp.	pepper, freshly ground
¼	cup	shoyu

1	T.	oil

Teriyaki Sauce:
2	tsp.	cooking sherry
½	cup	water
2	T.	brown sugar
¼	tsp.	ginger
1	clove 	garlic, minced
2	tsp.	cornstarch

A)	Combine ground beef, 1 T. shoyu, onion, bread crumbs, 
	egg, salt and pepper.  
B)	Shape into small meatballs, about 1" in diameter.  
	Heat the oil and fry meatballs until lightly browned.  
	Remove from pan.
C)	Combine rest of ingredients and cook until sauce 
	thickens. Stir often.
D)	Return meatballs to skillet with sauce.  Cover and 
	simmer	for 10 minutes.
